A collaboration between Survival Media Agency and 350.org. This poem by Sandy Navarro with Esperanza Community Housing was crafted in dedication to the folks in LA’s marginalized communities who live and face the impacts of neighborhood oil drilling. This piece was filmed on a rooftop adjacent to the oil derricks hidden in plain sight all throughout L.A. The Stand.LA project exists to organize against the existence of these archaic sources of energy.
